Tyron graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011. Throughout his degree, Tyron gained valuable experience in both the public and private health sectors, as well as two specialised units within the Western Bulldogs Football Club and the Australian Baseball League.
Tyron's strong interest in sporting injuries has led to him being the team Physio for Williamstown Football Club in the VFL and also a consulting Physio for Baseball Victoria Development Academy. Ty has also enjoyed being involved with local footy and athletics clubs.
Tyron has developed an interest in treating shoulder and knee injuries where he has regular contact with specialists to gain excellent rehabilitation outcomes. Tyron is currently practising at our Altona Meadows clinic where he also completes musculoskeletal screenings and Pilates assessments.
Outside of work Tyron has completed his first Melbourne Ironman and is keen on finishing a couple of marathons.
Thomas graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from The University of Melbourne in 2013 where he gained valuable clinical experience in various hospitals and private practice settings. This included specialist units at Portland Spinal Sports and Physiotherapy Clinic and a musculoskeletal post-operative placement at Western Health. He has also completed a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science at Victoria University in 2010.
Thomas has a particular interest in treating lower back injuries as well as various musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. Furthermore, with his exercise science background he has a keen interest in exercise prescription and tailoring programs to suit individual needs. Thomas is the head physiotherapist at the Hoppers Crossing Football Club for the 2014 season and he is currently practicing at both Hoppers Crossing and Tarneit Clinics.
Outside of the clinic, Thomas is passionate about sports, especially football, tennis and basketball all of which he played at competitive levels
Manjot graduated from La Trobe University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physiotherapy having completed his degree in Albury-Wodonga and Bedigo. Manjot has experienced a wide array of presentations ranging from rehabilitative orthopaedics to chronic pain. Throughout his degree, Manjot gained valuable clinical and non-clinical skills across metropolitan and regional Victoria ranging from Mildura to Ballarat.
Practicing at our Altona Meadows and Tarneit clinics, Manjot has a strong and enthusiastic interest in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. Manjot adopts a holistic approach and focuses on patient specific goals to acheive the best rehabilitation outcomes for his clients.
Hailing from Melbourne, Manjot has a keen interest in sports having provided services to various metropolitan rugby teams, country AFL teams and currently consults members of the Australian Powerlifting team at the Melbourne University Weightlifting and Powerlifting club. Manjot is one of the Physio's for the Melbourne Rebels Rugby Union Junior Gold Cup elite development squad where he works with experienced strength and conditioning coaches and physiotherapists gaining specialised knowledge in the field of sports.
Outside of work, Manjot is a competitive powerlifter with the sight of representing Australia in upcoming national and international Powerlifting competitions. Manjot is fluent in speaking Hindi and Punjabi and regularly partakes in cultural events including performing as part of a cultural Bhangra dance team.
Travis graduated from La Trobe University Bendigo in 2014 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Physiotherapy Practice. Travis has recently joined our Symmetry Physiotherapy team after he had previously been working in private practice in regional Victoria.
Through his clinical experience Travis has developed excellent assessment and functional treatment skills and has worked closely with orthopaedic specialists and sports physicians in his clinical practice. Travis has continued to develop a passionate interest in orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and sporting injuries throughout all age groups.
In 2015, Travis was the head physiotherapists for the ACT blind cricket team at the National Championship in Melbourne. He also worked closely with a variety of amateur AFL, soccer and netball teams whilst based in regional areas.
Travis is currently practicing at our Altona Meadows and Tarneit clinics. He has a strong desire to deliver optimal treatment to all of his clients and works closely with them along the rehabilitation process. Travis has additional training in dry needling and advanced knee rehabilitation. Outside of work Travis enjoys playing soccer and keeping fit in the gym.
Ally graduated in 2014 with an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy from the Australian College of Sports Therapy, and works with the Symmetry Physiotherapy team at Altona Meadows, Hoppers Crossing, Port Melbourne, Tarneit and Taylors Lakes Clinics. She has also previously studied the areas of trigger point therapy, joint mobilisation and corrective exercise.
Throughout her time studying Ally also gained significant experience at Williamstown Football Club in the VFL and the Lara Football Club in the Geelong Football League working one-on-one on and off the field with the footballers and fellow health and fitness staff. Ally has also done volunteer work at the Melbourne Ironman Triathlon 2013 & 2014 and Oxfam Trailwalker in 2012 to 2014.
Ally has a keen interest in the management of headaches and chronic back pain and has also trained and gained experience in dry needling, cupping and specialises in sports massage. She is looking forward to working and developing with Symmetry and gaining a deeper knowledge and understanding of injury prevention and rehabilitation.
