Symmetry Physiotherapy Sara Clapham
Sara Clapham
Physiotherapy

Sara has a special interest in treating neck related headache and migraine conditions. She has undertaken several professional development courses in the area and believes the neck is often incorrectly overlooked as a significant contributor to the condition.  Sara is also involved with clinical trials for the management of knee and hip osteoarthritis which she has developed a keen interest in. She loves seeing the impact physiotherapy can have on the quality of life and level of function for people suffering with osteoarthritis.

Sara enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. She has a hands-on approach to treatment and a strong focus on education and rehabilitation to prevent future injury. She aims to ensure her patients completely understand their injury and how to improve their health and function in the long term. Sara is an educator and mentor for new physiotherapists and enjoys contributing to their clinical development.

Sara completed her Master of Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University in Perth. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University, in Atlanta Georgia, USA, whilst on scholarship playing soccer.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys gardening, live music and cooking. She has recently started to dabble in sprint Triathlons.

Laura Rappazzo
Physiotherapy

Laura has completed both her Doctor of Physiotherapy as well as a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science. Laura is passionate in treating sports and musculoskeletal injuries particularly of the lower limb as well as particular interest in the cervical spine and shoulder pathology.

Laura has had work experience with the VFL and AFLW North Melbourne football teams and as a rehabilitation assistant in 2018 at the Geelong Falcons TAC Cup team. Laura is also a qualified Clinical Mat & Reformer Pilates Instructor, incorporating some of these principles where appropriate in her treatment planning. Laura is passionate about an evidence-based approach to treatment using both hands-on techniques and exercise to help empower individuals to achieve their goals and ultimately get back to doing what they love.

When Laura isn’t working she enjoys lots of cooking and baking, jogging, spending time with family & friends and going to the footy to support the Collingwood Magpies.

Symmetry Physiotherapy Rowan Jobling
Rowan Jobling
Physiotherapy

Rowan enjoys managing a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, with a keen interest in treating lower limb injuries. Rowan enjoys working with dancers and performing artists to get them back on stage. He was the physiotherapist for Hairspray the Musical during their Melbourne season in 2022. He has been a dancer from a young age and completed full-time contemporary training in Melbourne. Rowan believes that movement is the best medicine.

Rowan is a physiotherapist for the Port Melbourne Soccer Club (NPL) and has previously worked as a sports trainer at both the local (EDFL) and amateur (VAFA)
football levels. He enjoys working with players through their rehabilitation process to see them get back on the field.

Rowan has completed his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University and has since gone on to complete extra training in Dry Needling.

Outside of the clinic, Rowan enjoys keeping active with long distance running. He also loves to attend dance performances and other arts events on the weekends.

Megan Lacey
Physiotherapy

Megan loves working alongside her patients of all ages, helping them to achieve their goals. Having worked in two of London’s major teaching hospitals in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) for the majority of her career Megan has experience treating a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.  She has a keen interest in Women’s Health and Pilates and has undertaken further study in these areas. She also enjoys managing lower limb injuries and rehabilitating patients post-operatively 

Megan approaches all her patients holistically .and believes education is the cornerstone of every treatment.  She aims to implement preventative measures to avoid injuries and empower her patients with strategies to self-manage their conditions over the long term. She has a strong focus on exercise and movement in her treatment programmes.  

After completing her Psychology degree at Nottingham University Megan went on to gain a Masters in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret’s University in Edinburgh.  Since then, she has worked in a number of different settings, including Musculoskeletal clinics in the NHS and private Pilates practise the UK;  Neurological and community rehabilitation clinics in Sydney and in a deeply rural hospital in South Africa.  

Megan has three young children who keep her on her toes. She is a keen sports woman who can often be found running round the lake or along the beach, she also loves the challenge of a good endurance event! Megan thrives on keeping active and is keen to help her patients keep active too.

Matthew Dick
Physiotherapy

Matt enjoys meeting the diverse demographic of people that Physiotherapy attracts but has developed a special interest in the management of sporting conditions. Specifically, Matt has a passion for lower limb musculoskeletal injuries providing prevention and rehabilitation of ankle, knee and hip pathologies. Matt is passionate about implementing the most current evidence to each individual management plan providing the best possible return to function.

Matt’s journey to Physiotherapy began with a career in professional sport playing for the Sydney Swans and Carlton Football Clubs in the AFL, where he was exposed to high level strength and conditioning management through injuries of his own. Following this career, Matt completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science at La Trobe University and a Doctor of Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne.

Throughout Matt’s studies he worked as an Exercise Scientist in a rehabilitation gym helping clients achieve their health goals, as well as sports training at his local football club.

In his spare time, you’ll find Matt; going to the gym, exploring cafes and drinking coffee, walking his dog Pepper or spending time with his friends and family.

Isabelle Higgins
Physiotherapy

Isabelle is passionate about helping maximise people’s quality of life, with a particular interest in sporting injuries due to her active lifestyle and experiences as a state level rower and past dancer. She is also developing an interest in pelvic health and is passionate about providing effective patient-centred care and empowering her clients to achieve their goals and maximise physiotherapy outcomes.

Isabelle graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of South Australia. During her studies, Isabelle particularly enjoyed her clinical experience with West Adelaide Football Club in the SANFL and gained valuable insight into managing presentations of elite athletes in a professional sporting environment. Isabelle is also an accredited Level 1 Rowing Coach.

In her spare time, Isabelle enjoys going for long walks and to the gym, as well as meeting friends and family for brunch and a chat.
