Meet our Werribee team
Sara has a special interest in treating neck related headache and migraine conditions. She has undertaken several professional development courses in the area and believes the neck is often incorrectly overlooked as a significant contributor to the condition. Sara is also involved with clinical trials for the management of knee and hip osteoarthritis which she has developed a keen interest in. She loves seeing the impact physiotherapy can have on the quality of life and level of function for people suffering with osteoarthritis.
Sara enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. She has a hands-on approach to treatment and a strong focus on education and rehabilitation to prevent future injury. She aims to ensure her patients completely understand their injury and how to improve their health and function in the long term. Sara is an educator and mentor for new physiotherapists and enjoys contributing to their clinical development.
Sara completed her Master of Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University in Perth. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University, in Atlanta Georgia, USA, whilst on scholarship playing soccer.
Outside of work, Sara enjoys gardening, live music and cooking. She has recently started to dabble in sprint Triathlons.
Libby enjoys working with individuals of all ages and health conditions and has a strong passion for helping people achieve their goals and get back to doing everything they love. Libby has a particular interest in neck and back pain, knee injuries, osteoarthritis, and all sporting injuries.
Libby enjoys all things sports – growing up as a competitive netball and volleyball player. During her studies, she worked closely with a semi-professional football club at Prahran Assumption FC. In this position she gained valuable experiences managing both acute and chronic sporting injuries. She also has a keen interest in Pilates which she has been practicing for the last 5 years.
Libby has completed a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Physiotherapy and is driven to help all her clients form heathier lives and be the best versions of themselves. She is passionate about providing the best evidence-based physiotherapy for all her clients which includes a combination of hands-on-therapy, exercise, and education to assist clients in developing effective self-management strategies for their own health.
Outside of work you can find Libby cheering on the Tigers at the MCG, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
Emma has developed an interest in Women’s Health and the rehabilitation of sporting injuries. She has a particular interest in knee and shoulder injuries. Emma enjoys working with both the general population and athletes to achieve their goals and get them back to their sport and/or everyday life.
Emma has undertaken further training and completed her Strength and Conditioning Coach accreditation, Dry Needling course, and Pelvic Girdle Pain for Pregnancy and Beyond course.
Emma has worked with both local and elite sporting clubs, including Carlton’s reserves side in the VFL (previously known as Northern Blues Football Club) and Sandringham Dragon’s Under 18 Girl’s side in the then known TAC Cup.
Outside of work, Emma fills in her spare time by playing netball and football competitively and walking her puppy Douglas whilst sipping on some famous Melbourne coffee.
Kirstie has a great passion for treating all types and levels of sporting injuries, in particular, AFL, basketball and weightlifting. With a keen interest in treating women’s health conditions, she is passionate about combining hands-on therapy, exercise prescription and education to ensure her clients achieve their goals and optimal health.
Kirstie graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, gaining invaluable experience working as a sports trainer with the Box Hill VFL. She followed up with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University, working with a variety of age groups and conditions ranging from paediatrics to geriatrics, cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal and neurological clients.
Kirstie’s lifelong passion to pursue physiotherapy arose from her childhood sporting background of gymnastics and basketball. She is very passionate about living a healthy, active lifestyle; in her spare time, she keeps active by playing AFL, basketball and competing in figure competitions.
