Meet our Werribee team
Sara has a special interest in treating neck related headache and migraine conditions. She has undertaken several professional development courses in the area and believes the neck is often incorrectly overlooked as a significant contributor to the condition. Sara is also involved with clinical trials for the management of knee and hip osteoarthritis which she has developed a keen interest in. She loves seeing the impact physiotherapy can have on the quality of life and level of function for people suffering with osteoarthritis.
Sara enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. She has a hands-on approach to treatment and a strong focus on education and rehabilitation to prevent future injury. She aims to ensure her patients completely understand their injury and how to improve their health and function in the long term. Sara is an educator and mentor for new physiotherapists and enjoys contributing to their clinical development.
Sara completed her Master of Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University in Perth. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University, in Atlanta Georgia, USA, whilst on scholarship playing soccer.
Outside of work, Sara enjoys gardening, live music and cooking. She has recently started to dabble in sprint Triathlons.
Libby completed her Bachelors in Science, majoring in Human Structure and Function before going on to complete the Doctor of Physiotherapy both at the University of Melbourne.
Throughout her studies, Libby gained valuable experience across a variety of hospital, private practice and community settings and she enjoys working with individuals of all ages. She has a strong passion for helping all individuals achieve their goals and get back to everything they love doing.
Libby enjoys all things sports – growing up as a competitive netball and volleyball player. Whilst undertaking her studies, she had the opportunity to work with semi-professional athletes at Prahran Assumption Football Club. In this position she gained valuable experience managing both acute and chronic sporting injuries. She also has a keen interest in Pilates which she has been participating in for the last 5 years.
Libby is driven to help her clients form healthier lives and be the best version of themselves. She is passionate about providing the best evidence-based physiotherapy for all of her clients which includes a combination of hands-on therapy, exercise and education to assist clients in developing effective self-management strategies for their own health.
On her days off you can find Libby cheering on the Tigers at the G, hiking or spending time with family and friends.
Emma graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Health Science and then completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at ACU. Emma has a strong passion for sport, which has been demonstrated through her continued participation in competitive football (AFL) and netball, which motivated her to become a physiotherapist. Emma has worked with both local and elite sporting clubs, including Carlton’s reserves side in the VFL (previously known as Northern Blues Football Club) and Sandringham Dragon’s Under 18 Girl’s side in the then known TAC Cup. Her continued participation in the sporting environment has led Emma to gain further qualifications as a Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Throughout her studies, Emma gained invaluable clinical experience with a wide variety of patients in both metropolitan Melbourne and country Victoria. During this time, Emma developed an interest in Women’s health and the rehabilitation of sporting injuries, knee and shoulder injuries. Emma places a great emphasis on exercise as a rehabilitation tool and uses this in conjunction with other treatment techniques to achieve the best rehabilitation outcomes for her clients. Emma enjoys working with both the general population and athletes to achieve their goals and get them back to their sport and/or everyday life.
Kirstie graduated from Victoria University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Exercise Science, gaining invaluable experience working as a sports trainer with the Box Hill VFL. She followed up with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University, working with a variety of age groups and conditions ranging from paediatrics to geriatrics, cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, and neurological clients.
Having grown up playing sport her entire life, Kirstie has a great passion for treating all types and levels of sporting injuries, in particular, AFL, basketball, and weightlifting. With a keen interest in treating women’s health conditions, she is passionate about combining hands-on therapy, exercise prescription and education to ensure her clients achieve their goals and optimal health.
Kirstie’s lifelong passion to pursue physiotherapy arose from her childhood sporting background of gymnastics and basketball. She is very passionate about living a healthy, active lifestyle; in her spare time, she keeps active by playing AFL, basketball and competing in figure/bikini competitions.
