Is the practice principal and has over 20 years experience as a physiotherapist. Her areas of interests are headaches, pre/ post-natal care and family health. Maia has completed a wide range of courses over the years including Clinical Pilates, Dean Watson Headache course, McKenzie method, Mulligan technique and dry needling. Maia enjoys the challenge of running the practice as well as being a mother for her three young children. This enables her to appreciate the variety of issues a new mum and children can encounter.
She conducts evening and Saturday morning Pilates classes.
Maia is a Mentor for Polestar Pilates Australia. She loves being surrounded by people passionate about Pilates and movement.
She is well on her way to obtaining a Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction. Maia is undergoing Certification for the ISM (Integrated Systems Method) by Diane Lee in Vancouver Canada.
Man Seung (Nathan) Kim
Nathan is a clinical physiotherapist with extensive experience in treating a wide range of acute and chronic injuries. He has completed a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University in 2012 and has gained a strong interest and skillset for musculoskeletal rehabilitation, in particular, spinal and shoulder injuries which often persist without proper treatment.
Nathan has a great reputation in these areas and is renowned for delivering dedicated care for patients with persistent pain and injuries. In addition to his physiotherapy degree, Nathan also has a bachelor’s degree in sports education in Korea. This has added to Nathan’s comprehensive experience and knowledge in utilising exercises into rehabilitation programs which ensures the best possible outcomes and prevention of re-injury in the long term.
Jason Fairclough is an innovative and friendly physiotherapist with over 20 years experience and a special interest in sports injuries and hand therapy – particularly wrists and shoulders. Jason has learnt traditional therapies and exercises including acupuncture, acupressure massage, Tai chi, and combines this with evidence based practices and modalities.
Jason has an interest in Pilates and dance as therapy. He has experience in various public hospitals and private practices. Jason has published research on hand trauma and rehab, as well as pain management. He presents at national and international conferences, and is the inventor of a number of medical devices and health apps.
‘Adie’ is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Elite Performance Coach and Rehabilitation Specialist with over 20 years’ experience working with athletes, coaches and managers ranging from a variety of sports, athletes, martial arts, dance professionals, state and national athletes, corporate clients, high-profile clientele and the general public.
He develops specific rehabilitation and chronic disease training programs, sport specific training techniques, elite training sessions and specific educational programs for a huge variety of sports, coached and athletes Australia wide.
Adie is dedicated to helping as many people as possible with their health to enable them to live their best lives. Specialising in Chronis Disease management, injury, nutrition and recovery methods.
