What to do to prevent blisters?

Blisters are a common injury during a triathlon. Although a blister may seem trivial it can have a significant effect on your triathlon performance. So, what can you do to reduce your chances of a blister effecting you on race day?

  • Wear good fitting shoes
  • Don’t wear new shoes on race day
  • Wear good quality sports socks
  • Wear blister patches
  • Dry your feet after the swim leg
  • Put Petroleum Jelly on your feet
